Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25 in 1970) is an American actor. She was known to portray Tiffany Wilson, in the comedy film White Chicks Danielle Brooks and Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's House. Anne Dudek, an American actress is best known for her role as Tiffany Wilson in 2004's comedy film White Chicks. She is also popular for her television roles as the character Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Growing up in Massachusetts Dudek was a student at Northwestern University where she got her first role as an actor in a stage show The Iphigenia Cycle. In New York City, the production was withdrawn from Broadway where Dudek won the Joseph E. calloway award and American Theater Magazine profiled her as a promising young actress to watch. Dudek landed roles in television as well as on the big screen. As a mother of two, in front of the camera, the talented actress was married to Matthew Heller from 2008 to 2016. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975, but grew up in Newton. In her early days she was a student at Northwestern University where she performed in several stage productions. Dudek also made her Broadway debut on Wrong Mountain (2000). Later, she won the Connecticut Critics Circle Award in recognition of her role as The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group: A British Comedy-Drama marked her first appearance on television. She's been guest on a diverse range of shows, including Desperate Women How I Met Your Mother, Friends, ER, Charmed Bodies Numb3rs, or Six Feet Under. Dudek also played Lucinda Barry in the pilot episode of Psych and later a schoolteacher who shares a sexual encounter between one of her student on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek was then offered a regular role in House beginning in its fourth season as Amber Volakis, one of the forty doctors who are being considered to Dr. Gregory House for permanent posts within his team. The character of Amber Volakis was featured in the course of the show, but was finally killed off at the end in House's Heart. The character would be re-introduced in the form of a hallucination created by House in the fifth-season episode Saviors later appearing as a hallucination for the remainder of the series. Dudek was later seen in the role of Francine, the next-door neighbour in Mad Men and as Alby's hostile wife on Big Love. In 2010, Dudek became part of the cast on Covert Affairs portraying Danielle Brooks the sister of the central character. She also has appeared in movies playing the role of cruise-line heir Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy White Chicks and also played Anthony Hopkins's daughter in The Human Stain.
